The Process

It all starts with a few simple questions.

Step 01

First Meeting & Introduction

Usually during our first meeting, we will get to know a little bit about you and what you would like to achieve with your future planning. This step usually takes 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Step 02

Recommendations

During this part of the meeting, we will discuss our recommendations with you ensuring that all options have been fully explained. We will follow this meeting with an email outlining our recommendations and fees associated with the preparation of your estate planning documents. This step usually takes 1 hour and happens within 2 weeks of our initial introduction.

Step 03

Taking instructions

After you have had time to process all the information provided to you, we will have a further meeting to finalise your instructions and answer any queries that may have arisen so we can prepare your legal documents. This step usually takes 30 minutes to 1 hour and can be completed during our recommendations meeting, but usually within 2 weeks of receiving our recommendations.

Step 04

Preparation and signing of your documents

Preparation and signing of your documents: We will prepare your legal documents based on the information you provide us with. During the meeting to sign your documents we will explain what has been prepared to ensure you fully understand the legal formalities and are happy with the documents prepared. This step usually takes 30 minutes and within 2 weeks of taking instruction.

Step 05

Review

Once your estate planning has been completed, we will conduct periodic reviews with you. We can ensure that if your circumstances or any legislation changes that you have the correct estate planning documents in place.
